Account Information: When a parent signs in (via Google Sign-In or Anonymous Authentication), we collect basic authentication identifiers (such as User ID / UID and email address) provided securely through Firebase Authentication.
Family & Child Profile Data: First names or nicknames, custom avatars, age, routines, daily habit progress logs, stars, and reward settings created by parents are stored locally on your device and backed up securely in Cloud Firestore.
Device Pairing Information: Temporary 6-digit pairing codes generated to link parent and child devices.
2. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Star Habit Hero is a family-oriented application designed to be managed primarily by parents and guardians:
We do not request or collect personal identification numbers, contact information, or location data from children.
Child profiles are created exclusively by parents within the app.
All child interaction is restricted to routine completion and star collection without social features, chat, or external profile sharing.
3. How We Use Information
We use the collected information solely to:
Provide, maintain, and synchronize routine tracking services across your family devices.
Allow parents to manage routines, reward charts, certificates, and analytics.
Authenticate parent users securely.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using Hive storage and synchronized to Google Firebase Cloud Services (Firebase Auth and Cloud Firestore) using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion
Parents retain full control over their family data:
You can edit or delete child profiles, routines, prizes, and logs directly inside the application at any time.
To request full account and data deletion from our Firebase cloud servers, parents can delete their account within the app settings or contact us directly.
